Moreno Valley: Flash Flood Warning

A Flash Flood Warning was in effect for parts of Riverside County on August 15 from 5:26 PM to 7:15 PM PDT. Between 0.75 and 1.75 inches of rain fell, causing life-threatening flooding of creeks, streams, urban areas, and highways—including Interstate 10 between mile markers 108 and 109, and Route 177 between mile markers 2 and 9. Though the thunderstorms have ended, flooding impacts continued during the warning period. Avoid driving on flooded roads; most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
