Moreno Valley: Extreme Heat Watch

An Extreme Heat Watch is in effect for the Inland Empire from Tuesday morning through Friday evening, August 26–29. Temperatures in Moreno Valley and surrounding areas are expected to reach 98 to 106 degrees, with overnight lows remaining 5 to 10 degrees above normal, limiting relief from the heat. Heat-related illness risk increases significantly during prolonged extreme heat; the National Weather Service urges residents to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned spaces, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and check on relatives and neighbors.
