Moreno Valley: Extreme Heat Warning

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for the Riverside County Mountains from August 1 at 8:46 p.m. until August 2 at 8 p.m., issued by the National Weather Service. High temperatures below 7,000 feet are expected to reach the mid-90s to 102 degrees. Heat-related illness risk rises significantly during these conditions, so residents in or traveling through the area are advised to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioned spaces, avoid direct sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.
