Moreno Valley: Extreme Heat Warning

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for the Riverside County Mountains until 8 p.m. on August 3. The National Weather Service in San Diego says high temperatures below 7,000 feet will reach the mid-90s to near 100 degrees. Heat-related illness risk rises sharply in these conditions, so drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned space when you can, avoid direct sun, and check in on relatives and neighbors.
