Moreno Valley: Extreme Heat Warning

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect through 8 p.m. Sunday, August 9, for the Coachella Valley, San Diego County Deserts, and San Gorgonio Pass near Banning, with highs of 108 to 114 degrees expected. The National Weather Service warns that heat-related illness rises significantly in these conditions. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned space, avoid direct sun, and check on relatives and neighbors, especially those without reliable air conditioning.
