Moreno Valley: Extreme Heat Warning

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect until 8 p.m. on August 9 for the San Gorgonio Pass near Banning, along with the Coachella Valley and San Diego County deserts. High temperatures are expected to reach the mid-100s to low 110s. Heat-related illness risk rises sharply in these conditions, so drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned space, avoid direct sun, and check in on relatives and neighbors.
