Flash flooding is underway or expected shortly across Riverside County from heavy thunderstorms through 5:45 PM PDT on August 10. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have already fallen, with an additional 0.5 to 1.25 inches possible. Do not drive through flooded roads—most flood deaths happen in vehicles. Find an alternate route if you encounter water covering a roadway.
