Moreno Valley: Flash Flood Warning

A Flash Flood Warning was in effect for parts of Riverside County through 10:30 PM on August 12. Heavy rain from thunderstorms dropped between 0.5 and 1.25 inches, with additional rainfall up to 0.5 inches possible. Flash flooding threatened creeks, streams, urban areas, and roads. Avoid driving through flooded roads—most flood deaths happen in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when flood dangers are harder to see.
