The Moreno Valley City Council meets Tuesday September 1 in two sessions: a closed meeting at an unspecified time to confer with legal counsel on labor negotiations and potential litigation, followed by a regular public meeting starting at an unspecified time. The council will consider adopting an ordinance on logistics use facility mitigation measures (Ordinance 1047), which was negotiated with the California Attorney General's Office. Residents may speak during public comment periods; a speaker slip (blue form) is required for remarks on agenda items, and speakers have three minutes each. The council will also review and approve its Conflict of Interest Code as part of a biennial update.
