Moreno Valley sports: week of August 10–16

The Los Angeles Angels took three of four games against the Texas Rangers early in the week, including a shutout on August 13, before splitting their final three matchups with Kansas City. The Angels finished the week at 4-3.
The Los Angeles Dodgers won their first three games against Kansas City but struggled against Milwaukee, taking just one of four meetings with the Brewers. The Dodgers also finished 4-3 for the week.
The Inland Empire 66ers went 3-3 in a six-game series against Lake Elsinore, with wins on August 12, 13, and 16 bookended by losses. The local minor league affiliate had a rough stretch on August 14 and 15 before bouncing back with an 11-7 victory to close the week.
